Swimming

We are lucky to have two very experienced swimming instructors taking us for swim lessons this week and next week. We are great listeners and making awesome progress in the pool!

Diesels big race

Diesel took part in the Wanaka challenge in the weekend. He had to run and bike very fast! He got fourth - well done Diesel!

Iyland's birds nest

Look at this tiny birds nest iyland found near her house. The eggs must have been very tiny!

Athletics day

What a great day we had for athletics day on Tuesday. It was very hot! Well tried our best running, jumping and throwing. Lot of mums and dads came to cheer us on!

Whanau day!

What an awesome day we got for our whanau/family day! So many families came along to have a picnic lunch or sausage from the bbq and play games after lunch. The sack and egg & spoon races were very popular! More photos will be on our Facebook page!

What is that?

Coby brought a very interesting looking bug into our room today! It turned out to be a January beetle!

Great learners

Here are some of the students who passed their basic facts or spelling today and got to put their name  on our raffle board. Well done!

Celebration time

Today it was Team Kiwis turn to present at celebration time. We showed our people art and stories about ourselves.  Mason was our writer of the week with his story about going to see Nitro Circus. 

Nicole was our MVP for the value of respect - awesome work Nicole!

Fun!

Today we went out and had some fun with the parachute! It was great bouncing the ball on the colours!

Sports activator

Today we had our first sports session with Mr C. We did lots of running, jumping and moving while playing fun games. We can't wait until next time!

Celebration time

These awesome people got certificates for great learning this week! All Team Kiwi kids have settled into  the classroom routines quickly. They are  such a cool bunch of kids!
