Senior production

We have just been down to watch the Year five and six production,  Aladdin. Wow what a wonderful job they did! Awesome singing, acting and jokes. We loved it! We could see they had practiced so much. You should be very proud of yourselves seniors!

Plays

All week for reading we have been learning how to perform a play. We practiced all week and today to did the plays in front of the class. We did an amazing job! 

MVP

Sophie is our MVP for excellence this week! She is very deserving as she always tries her best and is very helpful in our room. She always wears her uniform correctly and with pride.

Keep NZ tidy - Edendale

Today the whole school went out with Fonterra workers to clean up rubbish around Edendale. Then we had a BBQ lunch!

Maths - position

For strand maths we have been learning about position words such as up, down. Under, near, left, right etc. we haven't also been following and giving instructions. Today we had to follow instructions to find the treasure then we had a go writing our own instructions.

Miss Corkery

Today is Miss Corkerys last say with us. She has done a great job to teach us all about instruction writing, growing plants, dancing, working with clay and many other things. We wish her well in her teaching career!

Making toast

We have been writing instructions at writing time with Miss Corkery. We wrote instructions about how to make toast and today we followed our instructions to make some yummy toast!

Bean seeds

Wow look what is happening to our bean seeds on the mini hot houses! Some have little plants now with leaves!

Celebration time

Congratulations to these wonderful students who got certificates for great learning this week!

Clay mice

Wow, look at our clay mice we made just like Jenny Miller!  We had already practised drawing a mouse that we could copy off.
