Clay

We We are learning about working with clay with Miss Corkery. We looked at clay art work by Jenny Miller . Today we experimented with the clay pulling, pinching, rolling and flattening. We are going to make the mice like Mrs Miller!

Woodwork by Meg

Meg brought along her woodwork project she is working on for Pet Day next term. Her mum and dad helped her. First she had to hammer in the nails and then wind the wool around the nails to make a picture. Great work Meg!

Kiwi Kev

Kiwi Kev had a very exciting weekend! He went skiing with a Beau and his family. Beau told the class kiwi Kev is very tired and has sore legs because skiing makes you do lots of exercise!

Greenhouses


Celebration time

Today it was Team Kiwis turn to present at celebration time. We showed our owl pastel and dye pictures and stories. Nadine was our MVP this week for excellence. Diesel shared a library book and Archie was our writer of the week!








Plants

Today we made greenhouses to grow plants with Miss Corkery. We are learning about the life cycle of plants for inquiry.

Cupcakes

Yummo!! Today Edendale school is having a cupcake competition to raise money for the cancer day appeal. The students had to decorate the cupcakes themselves and don't they look amazing!! Yummy!!

Piglets

Look who came to visit us today! Two little wriggly piglets! They are only one day old and unfortunately their mother died so Mrs Milne has to feed them every hour!

Mini Olympics

What a great day we had when we combined with Glenham school to have a mini olympics! We did lots of running, jumping and throwing! Thanks to Mrs Muir for organising the afternoon and all the mums and dads who ran the events. We loved all the fun games!
