Celebration time

Today was our turn to present at celebration time. We showed our awesome prints we had done. Well done to all the great people who got certificates for super learning today! Maddix was our MVP for the value of responsibility - well done!

Inspiring us!

Today Jason and Brayden from the Southland Stags came along to talk to us about leadership and making your dreams come true. They were talking on behalf of the Sir Peter Blake trust that was set up to inspire young people to dream big and become good leaders. They told us about what they wanted to be when they were young children and how they strived to reach their dream through hard work and determination.

Feely bag

It was Lucy's turn to put something in the freely bag for us to guess what it was. We had to ask lots of questions  to guess it was used in the garage. It was a spanner!

Textures

We have been learning about textures so today we did some leaf rubbings and went outside to see what other patterns and textures we could find. 

Printmaking

We are learning to do printmaking at art time with Miss Corkery. First we printed leaves with paint in lovely autumn colours. Today we printed koru patterns we had made on foam sheets with ink. They look great!

Celebration time
