Celebration time

Wacky hair day

Today we came to school in mufti and with wacky hair! We were raising money for child cancer. Don't we look awesome!

Weaving

Today at inquiry time we investigated a question children had about how early Maori made their clothing, baskets etc.

We looked at a Kete (basket) and discovered that they weaved flax to make clothes, mats etc. Then we had a go at weaving paper to make a basket!
